David Robins 7th January 2010

We had our teenage years growing up together, we went on one of the first 18-30 holidays to Benidorm and had a great time, subsequetly another holiday to majorca was a fantastic time with five of our mates, which we still talk about to ths day. Micheal was always the sensible one who looked after us, when due alcohol we were unable to do it ourselves. Micheal also organised our sunday football team, and and was a speedy and gifted winger. Having grown-up with Mike i was very sad to hear of his death and although not having seen him for some years i think i can say i regarded him as a true friend. Micheal was a true gentleman who would put himself out for others without expecting any reward. He also had a passion for cricket which i believe he played for years after giving up football. He will be greatly missed by everyone he knew, a genuine & honest man with integrity, a rare breed these days, my thougths go out to Sue & the family at this sad time DAVE ROBINS
